Welcome to Thailand! Thailand is a mix of modern society and ancient philosophy. It is a place where modern architecture competes with make shift houses. It is a place where people smile and "wai" to show respect, and yet corruption is everywhere. Most importantly, it is also a place where sin abounds and the Bible is unknown.

We are the Lacombe Family. Called to be missionaries to the field of Thailand. We have come to do our part in reaching the lost in the uttermost parts of the earth. We are sent from Odenton Baptist Church in Odenton, Maryland. Our sending church is also our mission organization. Our goal is to establish indigenous local churches to reach the entire country of Thailand with the Gospel. Please pray for us as we work for the Lord in Sriracha, Thailand.
LIFE CAMP!!
We had a very fruitful trip to Nakonayok for LIFE Camp 2008. LIFE camp is an opportunity for us to take unsaved people to camp for a week to learn English and the Bible. We tell them ahead of time that the will have Bible lessons and "Buddy Time". It lasts for three full days. In that period of time they have 5 English classes that last 1 1/2 hours each. They also have 4 Bible lessons and three one on one sessions (Buddy Time). This was the 16th year for Life Camp in Thailand. We took a group of 34 (20 campers) with us this year.We had been in prayer for this event for many many months. Most of the campers were unsaved with only 7 having solid proffesions of salvation. We saw four of these campers receive Christ as a result of Life Camp (see the life camp page for more info). There were two adult women who recieved assurance of salvation, and four rededications. God truly blessed our trip. Please pray for Sriracha Baptist Church as we lay the foundations for a strong local church.
